RiskAware,
Inc. offers universities a mass notification system
(RiskAware Notify) which is a hosted
SIP-based notification platform capable of handling
virtually any magnitude of instant message delivery. Because
of its hosted, SIP-based technology, Notify is
able to deliver messages to all of today's current
communications protocols: voice messaging with both
land-line and mobile, mobile text messaging, email, pager or
even fax. This system can be used as a stand alone mass
notification system or can be used to integrate with
RiskAware Complete to provide instant notification of issues
to all or partial segments of the campus community. Due to
its hosted, web-based architecture, Notify can
be scaled to deliver messages within any required window of
time. In the event of an emergency, messages can be sent out
to any audience within minutes if necessary. Conversely,
routine communications can be sent out at through a much
large window of time to reduce the communication costs.
Messages sent via Notify are created and
accessed through a user-friendly web-based interface. These
messages can consist of a prerecorded voice message, mobile
text message, email text message or a text to voice
converted message using our speech recognition engine.
Access to Notify is available through either the web
interface or, through the use of a any mobile device capable
of internet access.
