In her current role she is Founder of RiskAware delivering industry leading integrated risk mitigation solutions for businesses. She previously founded The CHN Group, a provider of business and market research services for corporations. Recent publications and presentations include: Do Background Checks Work? Evidence from Higher Education, Assessing the Impact of NCAA Scandal, Defining Scandal: Perspectives from Sports Sponsors and the Media, Strategic Planning in Higher Education, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy and Firm Performance, Competitive Intelligence in Professional Sports, Environmental Uncertainty: Empirical Evidence from the Pharmaceutical Industry, The Use of Strategic Alliances as Probing Devices, and Competitive Intelligence in Higher Education. Stephanie also serves as an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. In her prior role she served as chief executive officer for ABX Central, the leading electronic purchasing community for institutional athletic buyers. As CEO she was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision behind the ABX Central operations, evaluating and negotiating strategic business development relationships, identifying and developing key funding opportunities and providing insight and leadership to the corporate board and other internal constituents. Her professional career in international economic analysis began with a two-year assignment as a Foreign Service Officer in Washington, D.C. Stephanie received her BS in Marketing and an MBA in International Business from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her Ph.D. in International Business/Strategic Management at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
